Eastcoast rapper & producer duo Tone Chop & Frost Gamble took time out recently to speak with Prox Centuri of US online Inside the Rift
In this latest interview just published, the pair discuss their new album “Respect Is Earned Not Given” which releases on September 29th, the concept and themes addressed, and how they came to work with featured artists D.N.A., Kool G Rap and Tragedy Khadafi with whom Frost is currently producing a further new album.
They also outline their earliest influences, while Frost explains his different approach to this album compared to his work with ZotheJerk on “Black Beach” and also provides the publication with an exclusive mix set. He also makes mention of a future project “I Missed My Bus” nearing completion which includes features by Ras Kass, Skyzoo, Rah Digga, KXNG Crooked, Rute Juxx, Sadat X, Guilty Simpson and many more….keep a look out for that one later in the year !
