In the column just published there is news of the line up announced so far for this year’s Boom Bap Festival taking place in Suffolk 29th – 31st July. Among the many performers will be R A the Rugged Man, A-F-R-O, Task Force, Blade and a special one off show by the reformed for the day Phi Life Cypher.

There’s news on releases by Bumpy Knuckles, Ras Kass, Crooked I & Statik Selectah, Elzhi, Anderson Paak, Jazz T & Cappo and many others, including the new album “Anti-Trap Music” by Horseshoe Gang who “have probably got a good chunk of hip-hop pessimists back onside.
