Southern rapper & producer Ande Bishop released his debut EP “Ocean$” on 19th May having signed a pertnership deal with his own American Roulette Records enterprise and Seven 13 Entertainment

It is available on iTUNES

In the aftermath, he sat down with London’s Guestlist Network who produce a monthly free paper as well as having their online version of the publication.

They discuss his early days starting out in music, his influences and his move from focusing solely on producing to picking up the mic at the turn of 2015. They then turn to the impact of his releases “50 Centences” in January and his single “Old Jay-Z Videos” which was publicly endorsed by Rick Ross.

Ande then explains the hook up with Seven 13 Entertainment, the creative process behind the “Ocean$” EP and his future plans both in terms of recording a new album and the development of the American Roulette roster.

Young up & coming rapper and producer Ande Bishop continues to make a big impression since switching focus to his solo career at the turn of 2015.

It’s not hard to see why he’s being hotly tipped as the one to watch from the new wave of urban music artists emerging from Atlanta and the surrounding Southern States.

A string of single releases and buzz tracks since January have been featured in a broad spectrum of leading online titles in the States, and with the release of his debut “Ocean$ EP” on 19th May, he has started to pick up some international attention. The partnership between his own American Roulette organization and the rapidly expanding Seven 13 Entertainment looks set to be the catalyst for some big moves over the next couple of years

He took time out recently to speak with US online The 9 Elements as part of their “The Whole 9” series of features on artists

In this interview they discuss the making of the EP and the concept behind it, his rapid rise in recent months to become one of the most hotly tipped emerging artists in the Southern scene and the work done by American Roulette in generating such levels of awareness for their roster. They finish up by addressing his approach as a lyricist, his focus on development and plans for the future
