Over 3 days, 14th, 15th & 16th September, we arranged 5 video shoots with UK artists linked to future releases from Stateside artists Copywrite & Double AB.
On the first day, we were with Mystro, Genesis Elijah and Iron Braydz in Ladbroke Grove to film 3 of these. Mystro appears on Copywrite’s track Pick Up Stix, also featuring Sean Price, Iron Braydz appears on a track from Double AB “London’s Calling”, and all 3 appear on a new posse cut with Copywrite. Copywrite’s album “God Save The King” is due for release in the first quarter of 2012.
A number of media also dropped by to check out what was happening, including Soulculture, The Grime Report, BSomebody TV, Niji Magazine, Code Emphasis, Lime, and The Hip Hop Chronicle. Mystro, Gen & Braydz gave an impromptu “Big Man Ting” interview for The Hip Hop Chronicle (see below)

The next day we were in Lewisham, South London linkin up with Dru Blu (AKA Don Strapzy) to film a sequence for the track God Save The King. Good fellas and Dru been gettin a lot of exposure recently in the specialist UK media
On the final day we were over at Hammersmith to meet up with Context MC who had already appeared on a remix for Copywrite’s labelmate Vast Aire, on the track “Cannon on Samus”. The sequence was shot for a track “Ghost in the Machine” down at the Thames. Special mention to the woman who told us she could “arrange” for a variety of birds to appear in the video & offered a feather as proof. You have a sponsorship deal with Thunderbird in the making there sweetheart…..!
The full versions of these videos are now due to be edited and the results will be seen in the near future. Mention also to John at Dirty Media and Despa at Stay Fresh on the video duties
