Now based in Kansas, Cali rapper and ex Guerilla War Tactix member Matt Maddox is hitting the ground running in 2014

With his first solo album in 4 years “Righteous Fury” due to release on February 25th, he will also be busy on the road. Scheduled to appear at SXSW, tour with Slaughterhouse and further plans to tour the UK and Europe all by the late Spring, he’s kicking the year off with the release of the new single “Street Art”.

Produced by Skammadix with quality turntablism courtesy of fellow Red Phone labelmate TMB, Maddox is joined on the mic by Queensborough veteran Tragedy Khadafi, as they take it in turns to verbally tear into the beat like knives through butter.

The album also includes features from King Magnetic, Reef The Lost Cauze, Swann and the UK’s Edd Bundy, with further production supplied by a host of names including Snowgoons’ Sicknature, C Lance (Jedi Mind Tricks), Vanderslice, Nemesis and many more. Releases through Red Phone Records / Seven 13 Music. Definitely a name to watch this year.
