Been a couple of months since east coast duo M.I. and DJ Cutt released their fourth album “Avant Garde”, a release which received extensive international media coverage earlier in the year.

M.I. and DJ Cutt don’t let the grass grow under their feet. They have just completed filming of a new movie named after their self owned record label “Six 2 Six”, though the storyline has a different twist, and M.I. has just made his solo project “Psychedlic 60’s” available as a free download HERE

The duo are also spending time back in the lab preparing a new album which they hope to release next year to coincide with some European tour dates they are currently planning.

Having finished 2014 on a high with the release of his critically acclaimed album “Scattered Thoughts of an American Poet” on 10th December, Cincinnati’s Buggs tha Rocka has begun the new year in similar fashion.

He performed at the recent Cincinnati Entertainment Awards where he picked up the title of “Best Hip Hop Artist” for the second year running and has just been featured in two more international press publications

London based I Am Hip Hop Magazine produce a print version of their publication as well as having their online platform, and have also started a new radio show on the city’s Westide FM every Thursday night from 11pm

This is a busy time for the MC. Some time earlier he sat down with Jaime Valero from Spain’s Hip Hop Life Magazine. In this interview they discuss why now appeared to be the right time to release his first studio album and the messages he’s conveying in the tracks, the influences which first played a part in him picking up the mic, the comparisons made between himself and his older brother, life & hip hop in Detroit, and as a boxing fan, how he’d compare the sport to the approach taken as an artist

Published today in France’s online platform HipHop 4 Life is an exclusive new interview with Detroit MC Kid Vishis, and the premiere of his new freestyle video

In the feature written in both French & English, they discuss his new album “Timing is Everything” which released on 22nd July, he speaks about life growing up around artists such as his elder brother Royce da 5’9″ and Eminem, their body of work and the experience gained by touring with D12.
