Latest in their “The Whole 9” series US online The 9 Elements sat down with veteran Baltimore / New Jersey hip hop duo Constant Deviants recently ahead of the release of the group’s fourth studio album “Avant Garde” on the 12th May 2015.

They discussed the new album, the pair’s time working with Arista and Roc-A-Fella and the subsequent setting up of their own independent label Six2Six Records, the development of strong links with the European marketplace and their affiliates in Switzerland and their future plans.

Earlier today Constant Deviants released the first in their trilogy of “3Stylez” videos. The freestyle video series was filmed live in one take with DJ Cutt on the turntables and M.I. spittin the bars. UK online Shout 4 Music premiered “Heavy Artillery” as part of their feature on the group

Catch M.I. live on “Rapping with Leiberman” this coming Wednesday 8th April from 7pm EST. The new online tv show is streamed live on Youtube, Google Hangouts and EasyJoe.com and is hosted by Jon Leiberman (Sirius FM / Howard Stern)

With over 20 years in the game operating within both the Major & independent sectors, Constant Deviants release their new album “Avant Garde” on their own Six2Six Records label on 12th May. It will be available worldwide on vinyl, CD and digital formats.

Having released a new movie “Swiss Banks” to Youtube with their SWC affiliates in Switzerland in the past couple of weeks, the Baltimore & New Jersey duo have also just completed the filming of a new trilogy of freestyles. The “3Stylez Series” shows the pair performing live and direct, with the first of these, “Heavy Artillery”, launched today as part of a feature published by the UK’s online Shout 4 Music

In the interview, the pair discuss the running of their own label, the challenges faced to remain prolific and how they have maintained a high level of output over the years, they give their thoughts on the new Tidal streaming service, and outline their touring plans as well as the thought process behind the new album
