Cincinnati’s rising hip hop star Buggs tha Rocka has had a busy past few months.

First with the release of his album “Scattered Thoughts of an American Poet” in December 2014 which drew international critical acclaim, he then signed a two album deal with Talib Kweli’s Javotti Organization for his new project with Donte from MOOD going by the name of “Space Invadas”

He has also just been featured in the new Issue 40 of American multi genre printed publication Ghettoblaster Magazine which is hitting shelves now in the USA and Canada. Other features in this issue include Joey Bada$$, Ras Kass & Apollo Brown, Ghostface Killah, Torche, Swervedriver and many more.

Buggs tha Rocka will also be returning to Austin Texas later this month to perform at the SXSW Festival for the third consecutive year. Having finished 2014 on a high with the release of his critically acclaimed album “Scattered Thoughts of an American Poet” on 10th December, Cincinnati’s Buggs tha Rocka has begun the new year in similar fashion.

He performed at the recent Cincinnati Entertainment Awards where he picked up the title of “Best Hip Hop Artist” for the second year running and has just been featured in two more international press publications

Hip Hop Life is one of Spain’s largest publications dedicated to the genre, and Buggs spoke with them towards the end of the year. The monthly magazine is produced online, and his full interview (written of course in Spanish) can be read by turning to page 37 HERE

Buggs tha Rocka has also just today launched his new video “Celebration for Us” which features local artist Moxy Monster of Valley High. The track features on the album and is produced by Rusko.
