Wordplay Magazine is a well known publication representing various aspects of hip hop culture, and recently reviewed the new EP. As part of their ongoing “10 Questions” series, they spoke with Braydz about lyrics by other artists which have stood out, 3 joints he wish he’d been involved with, 3 MCs he’d want to work with and his most played album

Largely self produced, the new EP includes features by several of his fellow Triple Darkness members, Kyze, Skriblah, Prince Po, Sean Price and Phat Kat, and will be the first of a series of releases in the next year for one of the most respected hip hop lyricists in the UK today. Also look out for him appearing in a new film “Night Bus” later in the year shot by award winning director Simon Baker, responsible for Channel 4’s Paralympic series.

The London Word is a lifestyle publication representing the experience and passion for living in the city. The night starts at 8pm til 1am, £5 entry at the door, and there will also be performances by Caxton Press, Iron Braydz, DJ A.Gee from Itch FM and hosted by Peaches. Islington’s Melanin 9 took time out his busy schedule recently to speak with lifestyle magazine The London Word about his thoughts on the capital city

Happening upstairs at The Vibe Bar, 91 Brick Lane, London E1 6QL on Friday 23rd November, the night runs from 8pm – 1am

Door price is an extremely reasonable £5 where you will get the opportunity to see Melanin 9 perform various tracks from his new album Magna Carta, which is on general public release from 3rd December.

DJ for the night is Choice FM’s DJ 279, hosted by Neasden’s Iron Braydz.

Also performing will be Genesis Elijah, Phoenix da Icefire, Cyrus Malachi, Skriblah, Logic & Rewd Adams, which in anyone’s language is a massive lineup representing some of the best in the UK hip hop scene.
