Following on from his Mixtape “Ayatollah Presley”, hosted by Detroit’s House Shoes, Los Angeles lyricist Malkovich has hit 2013 running with the release of his banging new album “Great Expectations” which can be downloaded free now from www.malkovichmusic.bandcamp.com for a limited period.

He has already released the videos “What I Know” ft Sum and “Palms” from the album which also features Gotham Green and Omni whose recent album was produced by Tricky. Production comes courtesy of Leggo, Becoming Phill, Yamin Semali (Clan Destined), Computer Jay (Shafiq Husayn) and Josh The Goon (Freddie Gibbs & Psycho Realm).

One of the biggest UK hip hop releases of 2012 is now available to buy from iTunes.

“Magna Carta” is London emcee Melanin 9’s official debut album and from today, 3rd December, people can purchase it online via the store HERE

Of course, if you prefer to buy the physical CD version of the album, they can be bought by mail order directly from http://m9ether.bandcamp.com

There has been huge trans-Atlantic and European media interest in the album, already named “Album of the Month” in Guestlist Network with further coverage in publications such as MOJO, Clash, Flavour, British Hip Hop, The Hip Hop Chronicle, K-Mag, Subba Cultcha and many more, with much more to come.

His freestyle for SBTV’s new SkooledBy Series was also featured by Stateside magazine The Source, he’s been interviewed live on DJ 279’s Choice FM show and Funhouse TV, and you can look forward to seeing further filmed performances and interviews in the weeks ahead. His single & video “White Russian” featuring Roc Marciano had a massive international response, and he’s currently working on the follow up

“Magna Carta” as a debut album has received an exceptional response from the media in the UK and overseas, and this week will see Melanin 9 live on Funhouse TV with DJ Chris P Cuts from 9pm GMT / 4pm EST on Tuesday 20th (Live stream HERE ), and on Thursday he will be live in the studio with DJ Sammy Jay for the Xposure show on Guess FM from 7.30pm GMT / 2.30pm EST http://www.guessradio.co.uk

On Friday his album launch party takes place from 8pm – 1am at The Vibe Bar, 91 Brick Lane, London E1 (nearest tube Aldgate East).

Earning his reputation initially in the Australian homegrown scene with artists such as Bliss & Eso, producer M-Phazes went on to produce for internationally renowned stars such as Talib Kweli on Gutter Rainbows, the tracks Clap, Assassins and One Day ft Jill Scott for Pharoahe Monch, and Back on the Scene for Shady’s supergroup Slaughterhouse.

In 2010 he released his debut album “Good Gracious” featuring the cream of Australian hiphop which received global recognition

In October this year it was announced that he was collaborating with DJ Rhettmatic on a new remix album, to be called “Phazed Out” which will feature Big Noyd, Inspectah Deck, Termanology, Heltah Skeltah, Sadat X and many more, due for a 2012 release on Coalmine Records. Emilio Rojas current single Middle Finger was also produced by him
