North west London rapper Da Flyy Hooligan released his new album “S.C.U.M.” yesterday, October 27th.

In an extremely rare step for a British hip hop artist, he signed with a US label for the release, Miami’s 22 Entertainment. Produced entirely by Agor, featured artists are current US luminaries Westside Gunn and Hus Kingpin, and availability is on multiple formats from stores worldwide including Amazon, Bandcamp, iTunes and Spotify.

Two early reviews have just been published, both from the States. One is by Youtube channel “The Report Card Podcast” and the other by “Balcony Life Blog”. Check out what they had to say :

Latest review of the new album by eastcoast rapper / producer duo Tone Chop & Frost Gamble comes courtesy of US online “Balcony Life”

Written in summarised form, the appraisal endorses the level of lyricism and production on offer. Choice beats, gritty rhymes, the art of storytelling, hard and tough street bars, it’s a classic concoction for the hip hop connoisseur that has the spirit of the Golden Era while adapted for a contemporary sensibility.

The quality on display is enhanced further by the guest featured artists Kool G Rap, Planet Asia, Canadian upcomer White Rhino, rap battling phenomenon D.N.A. and QB’s legendary Tragedy Khadafi with whom Frost releases a new EP “Rare Fabric” on October 20th.

Two singles released to date are “Walk the Walk” ft KGR and “Guillotine Chop” ft Planet Asia and White Rhino.

“Respect Is Earned Not Given” releases through 22 Entertainment on September 29th, available to pre-order on iTunes and in digital and CD formats via Bandcamp
