One of the most creative and gifted lyricists to emerge from London’s burgeoning rap scene, Da Flyy Hooligan released his new album “S.C.U.M.” on October 27th.

In a rare step for a British hip hop artist, he signed with a US label in the shape of 22 Entertainment for the release which also includes guest featured artists Westside Gunn and Hus Kingpin.

“S.C.U.M.” is available to buy on both CD and digital formats from multiple online stores worldwide including Amazon, Bandcamp, iTunes and Spotify

French online magazine “Sagi Hip Hop” has just published a new 4 star review reflecting the quality of the production by Agor, compared in style to The Alchemist, and the fierce rhyme skills of Harlesden’s finest.

New video “Alligator Skin” by north west London rapper Da Flyy Hooligan, the latest from his album “S.C.U.M.” released on October 27th through US label 22 Entertainment which includes guest featured artists Westside Gunn and Hus Kingpin.

UK producer Agor has again laced this one with a stunning beat. A vocal and piano sampled slow burn feeds the switch up to a raucous guitar driven neck breaker, DFH typically taking the opportunity to let loose with both barrels in a lyrical onslaught.

North west London rapper Da Flyy Hooligan released his new album “S.C.U.M.” yesterday, October 27th.

In an extremely rare step for a British hip hop artist, he signed with a US label for the release, Miami’s 22 Entertainment. Produced entirely by Agor, featured artists are current US luminaries Westside Gunn and Hus Kingpin, and availability is on multiple formats from stores worldwide including Amazon, Bandcamp, iTunes and Spotify.

New single by Da Flyy Hooligan, “Distress Signals” produced by Agor features Long Island’s Hus Kingpin and is the second to be taken from the album “S.C.U.M.” releasing October 27th through 22 Entertainment whose back catalogue includes Royce da 5’9″, Fashawn, KXNG Crooked and Joe Budden.

Long established at the forefront of the UK’s burgeoning rap scene, DFH also spent time in NYC as part of J-Ronin’s “All Elements” clic and worked with US artists Sav Killz, Prince Po, Dead Prez, Hasan Salaam, D.V Alias Khryst and the late Sean P. The first single from the album “Savile Row” featured current Stateside luminary Westside Gunn, and speaking about the new release the north west London rapper commented :

Following the phenomenal international response to his debut album “Magna Carta” which released on 3rd December, Melanin 9 has just launched the final video from this project “Heartless Island” featuring his long time sparring partners Triple Darkness with production courtesy of Jehst

Just as with previous joints Organized Democracy and DJ Magazine’s Hip Hop Single of the Month “White Russian” ft Roc Marciano, this is another banger with all artists on top of their lyrical game over a slammin beat.

Melanin 9 has just released the vinyl version of Magna Carta, and has been busy in the studio recording new projects including a new track with Planet Asia. He has several live appearances coming up including a performance at London’s iLuvLive at the end of May, and featuring on the main stage at the UK’s Boom Bap Festival in September.

Definitely one to keep your eyes on over the next 12 months
