While in NYC last month they appeared as guests of DJ Eclipse on his Sirius XM “Rap Is Outta Control Show” a few days before Frost released his “Rare Fabric” EP with Tragedy Khadafi and his remix of the Kid Vishis single “Go Off” featuring Royce da 5’9″.

The pair are back with a brand new joint “Chop ‘Em Up [Freestyle]” made available as a free download today, the battle hardened rapper delivering a salvo of his trademark punchline bars over Frost’s bass heavy beats that kick like a mule.

In the lead up to the release of his new album “Respect Is Earned Not Given” last week with long time sparring partner Tone Chop, NY state hip hop producer Frost Gamble, currently resident in Winnipeg Canada, sat down with Chicago online magazine “Flows for Days”.

In the article published yesterday, the crate digger speaks about the switch from vinyl in the beatmaking process and the progression from last year’s “Veteran” EP with Chop to the new album.

He discusses how he first started out in production, the earliest influences, his work on an award winning gospel album and also a project with the legendary Rakim’s son Tahmell, and the impact signing with Miami’s 22 Entertainment has had on his career – a label whose back catalogue includes Royce da 5’9″, Fashawn, J-Kwon, Bumpy Knuckles, KXNG Crooked, Joe Budden and many more.

Frost will also release a new EP “Rare Fabric” on October 20th, a collaboration with Tragedsy Khadafi and a new solo LP “I Missed My Bus” featuring KXNG Crooked, Ruste Juxx, Skyzoo, Rah Digga, Guilty Simpson, Ras Kass and many more is due out in early 2018.

Having just released their new EP “Veteran” on November 18th, NY State rapper Tone Chop and producer Frost Gamble, now relocated to Winnipeg, sat down with US online publication The Underground Hip Hop

In the new feature the pair discuss their earliest days and inspirations, and give the reasons why the new EP is a landmark in their careers to date. Having originally met at rap battles during the 90’s, the duo speak about longevity and determination as independent artists, and how they see their brand of hip hop sitting in future in such a diverse marketplace.

During the article they also mention the value they place on their loyal fanbase, and the lessons they’ve learned over the years within the industry as they plan ahead for a new album release in 2017.
