With less than a week to go until the release of his new album, Cincinnati’s Buggs tha Rocka sat down with Miami based journalist MidWest Melly to discuss the influence his home city and Ohio has played in his approach as an artist and the eclectic feel of the album, working with Talib Kweli, the subjects addressed lyrically in the album and the process of putting it together with producers !llmind, Jake One, Hop Trax, Kill Will and Sal Dali, and his plans for the 2015


The 19 track album Scattered Thoughts of an American Poet includes guest features by Tanya Morgan, Chuck Inglish, MOOD, Phoenix Aphrodite & Piakhan, and will be available as a free download exclusively from Buggs’ own site www.buggstharocka.com from Wednesday 10th December 2014.

Taken from his forthcoming album “Scattered Thoughts of an American Poet” out on 10th December, the soul-sampled beat comes courtesy of Hop Trax who weighs in heavily on the album’s production together with Sal Dali, !llmind and Jake One.
