This is the first single from a new album “The Swashbuckler Vol 1 : The Viking Wars”
The album is the brainchild of Man Bites Dog Records CEO RML and producer Kount Fif, and has been nearly 6 years in the making.

SMI ft TQ “DONT STOP” out 7th December on Spinnr Music
North West London’s S.M.I. are set to make a massive impact on the UK scene by collaborating with international r&b star TQ for their debut release DON’T STOP on 7th December.
A chance visit by this London crew to TQ’s concert at SOUND in May has led to them producing one of the most impressive UK dance singles of the year.
TQ explains “The guys approached me after the concert and handed me a cd of their beat and asked if I’d jump on it. I listened back at the hotel and called em up the next day. I knew it was hot, and we got it locked down at their place within a week. Couple weeks later we got the video shot and it was a wrap. Ive always had a lot of support from the UK, and I remember startin out and how difficult that was. So I jus wanted to give somethin back, show my appreciation for the scene and the talent that’s over there”
S.M. I stands for Streets Made Innovators, a movement that consists of producers and performing artists. They were founded in 2007 by UK rapper/Business man F.R. (Frank Rambo) who decided to bring together a team of producers and musically talented friends aimed at breaking into the UK music scene.
S.M.I is part of the independent label Spinnr Music which was set up by F.R. and his producers Leon Vandol and Kader of Hypnotiks.
Their aim is to promote, push and accelerate an innovative sound beyond its core urban market and reach out to a wider music community. The movement originated from North West London and developed from Hypnotiks working with artists on their productions, and so promoting everyone’s talents collectively under one name.
In addition to working with TQ they have also collaborated with Steelo (Soul Fever).
Further house & funky remixes come courtesy of London’s Mario Louca, aka DJ Mappa, a regular on the community radio and club circuit. He’s produced countless remixes and mixtapes and stood in for Mista Jam on 1Xtra in October last year.
With such a positive vision and ambition to work with local & international artists, S.M.I. are sure to be the latest UK talent to make big moves in the months to come.
