Having just released their new EP “Veteran” on November 18th, NY State rapper Tone Chop and producer Frost Gamble, now relocated to Winnipeg, sat down with US online publication The Underground Hip Hop

In the new feature the pair discuss their earliest days and inspirations, and give the reasons why the new EP is a landmark in their careers to date. Having originally met at rap battles during the 90’s, the duo speak about longevity and determination as independent artists, and how they see their brand of hip hop sitting in future in such a diverse marketplace.

During the article they also mention the value they place on their loyal fanbase, and the lessons they’ve learned over the years within the industry as they plan ahead for a new album release in 2017.

Man Bites Dog Records have announced that due to a change in their international distribution outlets, the release date for Copywrite’s album “God Save the King (Proper English Version)” has been delayed for a month

Originally due for release on 15th May 2012, it will now be available for the public to buy on 13th June 2012

There has already been huge public anticipation in the release, one which Copywrite himself describes as “probably my best to date”. With a massive line up of featured artists from the UK and USA, its little wonder there has been such a high level of interest

There have already been video releases from the album, including G$K featuring Lewisham’s Dru Blu Strapzy, and an affiliated bonus track featuring Genesis Elijah, Mystro & Iron Braydz “Royal Flush” which has been heavily supported on both sides of the Atlantic including 2 Dope Boyz, Hip Hop DX, UGHH, 57th Avenue, and UK satellite station Flava TV

The new album “The Swashbuckler” presented by Man Bites Dog CEO RML and producer Kount Fif drops on the 27th March.

The label, who have just signed Roc Marciano for his new album due out in September 2012, put together this special release after many years of development. Working with Fif, they have drawn from their own influences of 90’s hip hop to put together a record which represents the spirit of the time.
