British online Bearded Magazine report on a wide range of new independent artists of various genres, providing reviews, features, news and video coverage.

They have an “Introducing…” series of features where they “focus on artists we think are worth shouting about”

They have just published one such feature on Detroit MC Kid Vishis who released his debut album “Timing is Everything” on 22nd July 2104.

The feature focuses mainly on the new release, while providing some background : “Being the younger sibling of an already established musical force can often be of detriment to your success…however, when it comes to Detroit-style rap, with all its grit, Kid Vishis isn’t finding it difficult to escape from Royce da 5’9”.”

Writing for the UK’s Niji Magazine, a publication with a long history of supporting new and emerging talent and artists, the piece touches upon the Emcee’s ability with superior lyricism and wordplay to speak on the subjects of racism, social conditions, spirituality, love and politics

It’s an in depth review, critical in places but done with positive intentions, but ending with :
