UK online publication HHK Magazine have been running their “25 Facts” series for a few years now, a behind the scenes look at artists and their latest releases. Designed to provide some lesser known or even unusual information about the concepts or events which took place during the recording process combined with a rare insight into the artist themselves.

Latest to be focused in this series is Long Beach’s Horseshoe Gang and their new album “Anti-Trap Music” which releases on April 29th 2016.

Horeshoe Gang will be performing live on Friday February 26th with their elder brother KXNG Crooked at Los Globos, 3040 W Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles CA 90026. Also on the bill are Smart Asses, The Black Kinideez, Omega Nova and Bullet. Doors open 8pm, show starts 8.30pm. Admission is $15 and tickets can be bought HERE

One for west coast rap & hip hop fans to mark in their diary.

Slaughterhouse’s KXNG Crooked will be tearing it down with his younger brothers Horseshoe Gang at Los Globos (Indie Club) on Friday February 26th. The address is 3040 W Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90026.

Doors open at 8pm with the show starting at 8.30pm which will also include performances by Smart Asses, The Black Kinideez, Omega Nova and Bullet. This is an 18 and over event, admission is $15 and tickets can be bought HERE

Horseshoe Gang of course are set to release their new album “Anti-Trap Music” on April 29th through Seven 13 Music & Entertainment (CDs, including signed copies, can be pre-ordered HERE)

Their reputation as some of the fiercest lyricists around over the past few years is well warranted, and they will also be appearing at this year’s SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas.

Islington’s Melanin 9 took time out his busy schedule recently to speak with lifestyle magazine The London Word about his thoughts on the capital city

Happening upstairs at The Vibe Bar, 91 Brick Lane, London E1 6QL on Friday 23rd November, the night runs from 8pm – 1am

Door price is an extremely reasonable £5 where you will get the opportunity to see Melanin 9 perform various tracks from his new album Magna Carta, which is on general public release from 3rd December.

DJ for the night is Choice FM’s DJ 279, hosted by Neasden’s Iron Braydz.

Also performing will be Genesis Elijah, Phoenix da Icefire, Cyrus Malachi, Skriblah, Logic & Rewd Adams, which in anyone’s language is a massive lineup representing some of the best in the UK hip hop scene.
