Based in the south of England, the online has been on the go now for a couple of years with the focus on supporting new emerging talent in music, fashion, art and covering a variety of events

They also actively look to encourage and support new young upcoming writers and journalists providing them with the platform to develop their skills and cover a variety of subjects. Unsurprisingly, the nature of Copywrite’s new album which also represents the UK and USA via features from the likes of Akala, Genesis Elijah, Iron Braydz, S.A.S., Melanin 9, Mystro, Dru Blu, Royce da 5 9, Crooked I, Sean Price, Roc Marciano, Torae, Evidence, Killah Priest and many more sat well with them given the international co-operation between hip hop scenes.

Its been an epic journey, but the day has finally arrived

After the initial concept of the album was born during the first couple of months of 2011, and after a very long & winding road in the months which followed, Copywrite’s new album “God Save The King (Proper English Version)” releases today on Man Bites Dog Records

A Stateside version called simply “God Save The King” was released with an entirely different tracklisting in the States in February 2012, however this version took the longest to complete given the massive array of international talent from the UK, United States and Canada who also feature.

Needless to say, the UK media have taken a huge interest in the release over the past few months, with nearly 30 separate magazines either reviewing or publishing interviews (with more to come), djs & online platforms from both sides of the Atlantic jumping all over the various single releases and videos, with further UK satellite tv station support.

Latest to give props to the album is The Hip Hop Village, the people behind which also run 16 Bars Magazine

Also look out for a new video “Ghost in the Machine” featuring London’s Context coming very soon

Copywrite himself is also busy putting together the new Megahertz album, and plans are underway for a European tour taking place early 2013

The album is available on iTunes internationally, and people can check in at www.copywritesworld.com or www.manbitesdogrecords.com for more information

Regular visitors to this site – and thanks, we know there’s many of you – may have noticed a slight redesign recently.

While we have been busy over the years generating media & public exposure for the artists and labels we work for, and highlighting their various online platforms, we received many enquiries about the range of services we provide

All of that can now be viewed here at www.urbanelitepr.com

We’ve kept it simple. The main page will continue to provide news on current campaigns, for example copy press, video & single releases, tour news and links to the artists concerned, while various pages have been set up giving more information about who we are, what we do, past examples of media, radio, tv, videos, single releases and tours

UrbanElite Promotions are a PR and Marketing company operating primarily in the UK with secondary operations on mainland Europe. We have 7 years’ experience working with many independent and Major artists from the UK, United States and Canada

The main focus is on hip hop & rap, but have also covered r&b, soul, dubstep, dance, drum & bass and various other styles

We work single, video & album releases, servicing physical & online press, magazines, newspapers, blogs, radio & club djs, satellite tv, provide tour press, assist in setting up events and tour dates, and provide artists & labels with further development, logistical & marketing assistance.

Our reach for single & video releases includes UK, Europe, Canada & United States while album promotions concentrate mainly on the UK market with mainland Europe a secondary option. Tours & events cover mainland Europe and the UK, with secondary options available for Australia

We are aware of other organizations of a similar name such as a community online radio station & a London based Club Night operation, but we have no affiliation with them having been in existence since 1998, wholly independent since 2005.

However, check the various pages highlighted at the top of the main site to see more information about ourselves, snapshot examples of previous media campaigns, artists’ music & interview videos, tracks on Soundcloud & Youtube, details regarding tours and events & information regarding the full range of services

At the very least you’ll get to hear some great music and watch some bangin hip hop videos !
