Eastcoast rapper / producer duo Tone Chop & Frost Gamble have released their new album “Respect Is Earned Not Given” through Miami label 22 Entertainment whose back catalogue includes Royce da 5’9″, DJ Premier, Fashawn, KXNG Crooked, Joe Budden and Bumpy Knuckles.

The follow up to last year’s critically acclaimed “Veteran” EP is again rammed full of rugged rhymes, battle bars and true life stories from Binghamton’s lyrical marksman aided and abetted by guest artists Kool G Rap, Planet Asia, Canadian upcomer White Rhino, Tragedy Khadafi and rap battling phenomenon DNA.

Award winning producer Frost laces the album with high calibre beats fusing classic and contemporary sounds with a healthy dose of turntablism resulting in straight heat for the hip hop connoisseur. Binghamton rapper Tone Chop & producer Frost Gamble, now relocated to Winnipeg Canada, release their new album “Respect Is Earned Not Given” tomorrow, Friday September 29th through Miami label 22 Entertainment.

It’s the follow up to their “Veteran” EP released in November last year at which time the pair spoke with The Word Is Bond Rap Radio Show host Chase March about their careers to date and future plans.

With the new release imminent, they all caught up again earlier this week to discuss the album and the developments over the near past year which have brought them to this point. The “dynamic duo” speak about having featured artists such as Kool G Rap on the album, the poignant story behind the track “Bing Stories”, Chop’s view on current rap addressed in “It’s Hip Hop” and “Beat Knocking” and introducing classic hip hop artists, music and history to their children.

While outlining their future plans together, Frost goes on to speak about his other projects including the release of the album “Black Beach” with Detroit’s ZotheJerk in May, his new collaboration EP with Tragedy Khadafi “Rare Fabric” in October and a new solo project releasing early next year which includes guest artists KXNG Crooked, Rah Digga, Skyzoo, Ras Kass, Guilty Simpson and Ruste Juxx.

Couple weeks back, Constant Deviants were in New York promoting their new album “Omerta” which released on June 28th.

They appeared as guests on various stations every night during their weeklong stay in the city, which began when they dropped in to the Sirius XM studios for DJ Eclipse’s Rap Is Outta Control Show.
