New single “In the Streets” by eastcoast rapper / producer duo Tone Chop and Frost Gamble, the third to be released from their album “Respect Is Earned Not Given” out on September 29th through 22 Entertainment following “Walk the Walk” ft Kool G Rap and “Guillotine Chop” ft Planet Asia and White Rhino.

The most viewed English language rap battler DNA gets in on the action here, the Queens and Binghamton veterans trading verses which recall and compare throwdowns past and present, the arenas having moved from street corners to live streams.

Prolific producer Frost Gamble follows the new album with another new release on October 20th, this time his collaborative EP with Tragedy Khadafi “Rare Fabric”. Earlier this week, the label dropped the single “Barely Human” by Royce da 5’9″ and Tech N9ne for the 6th anniversary of their releasing Nickel’s “Success Is Certain”. High calibre lyricism stays on the agenda with this new one, Frost’s atmospheric backdrop underpinning sharp menacing bars by Chop and guest artists Planet Asia and Canadian upcomer White Rhino.

The album also features the States’ most viewed online rap battler D.N.A., Kool G Rap and Tragedy Khadafi with whom Frost has just wrapped up a new project. He is also near completion of a new solo producer album which includes contributions by Ras Kass, Skyzoo, KXNG Crooked, Ruste Juxx, Rah Digga & Guilty Simpson.

Last weekend, Frost was in NYC finishing his new project with Tragedy Khadafi. He was in town with Detroit rapper ZotheJerk with whom he released the “Black Beach” album in May. While there, they took the opportunity to meet with media, and took the trip up to Bushwick to appear on DJ Toshi’s Classic Storm Radio show.

A member of the highly rated Triple Darkness crew, his position as one of the country’s most gifted lyricists is well established and he brings all of his verbal dexterity to the table in this new joint “Polaroid”. Produced by Californian duo Walterwarm and Cowode, it is the first single to be taken from the new album and features British upcomer Karl Sage.

Official video of the new single “Step Up” by NY State rapper Tone Chop and Winnipeg based producer Frost Gamble, filmed and directed by Big Drew Grafix.

It’s the second to be taken from the ex rap battle rivals’ EP “Veteran” out on November 18th through Seven 13 Music & Ent, and follows their tribute to Sean Price “Leave It Alone” which featured Ruste Juxx and Nobi.

With a little help from The A Team’s Mr T in the hook, Frost’s atmospheric production provides Chop with the backdrop to throw down challenges to all-comers through punchline filled verses.

North London rapper & producer Iron Braydz sat down with British multi genre online music magazine Subba Cultcha recently ahead of the release of his new “Verbal sWARdz” EP which is available now from his BANDCAMP

The magazine’s contributor Ben Bradford spoke with the Triple Darkness member about the origins of the EP’s title, discussed the reasons behind the Emcee’s earlier inclination to give up music and the factors which influenced his decision to continue, they talk through specific tracks on the EP and working with Prince Po, his time in the States and his plans for his future album scheduled to be released later in 2014.

With just over a week until release, UK online magazine Sampleface are the latest to review the new album “Righteous Fury” by Kansas based rapper Matt Maddox
