The owner of recently relaunched label New Dawn Records, the parent company of in-house promotions and marketing division UrbanElite PR will be live on air Tuesday May 21st at 1pm PST / 4pm EST / 9pm GMT / 10pm CET giving an extremely rare interview to Harlem’s The Beef Stew Show which broadcasts on Blogtalk Radio.

Originally established in 1996, NDR operated until 2004 before putting all of their resources into developing UrbanElite PR as a stand alone company who would go on to be one of the leading promoters of independent hip hop worldwide. Shortly after the release of their new EP “Veteran” on November 18th, NY rapper Tone Chop & Winnipeg based producer Frost Gamble jumped on the phone with Canadian DJ Chase March live on air during his “The Word is Bond Rap Radio Show” broadcast on CHRW 94.9FM

Meanwhile, the pair also spoke with French magazine Hip Hop Breath recently.

Among the topics for discussion was how the duo first met at rap battles in upstate NY during the 90’s and the cultural elements that drew them to hip hop, the motive that drove them to work together on their first official EP release after all these years, and the inspiration behind their tribute track to Sean Price “Leave It Alone” featuring Ruste Juxx.

They also give their thoughts on the re-emergence of CD and vinyl formats, the comparisons of the US and European markets, the current rap battle scene broadcast online through channels such as KOTD TV and their hopes for the future of hip hop.

Long Beach rap group Horseshoe Gang will be live in the Homegrown Studios tonight, Thursday July 21st, from 8pm PST as guests of the HGR Live Show.

They released their album “Anti-Trap Music” through Seven 13 Music & Entertainment on April 29th, and within the first day of release, Amazon had completely sold out their initial CD stock, and it charted Top 50 on iTunes in 15 different countries.

The group will be interviewed live on air tonight, and the show is interactive. Constant Deviants began their visit to NYC promoting their new album “Omerta” last Sunday with their appearance on DJ Eclipse’s Sirius XM Rap is Outta Control Show, and on the final day of their stay in the city they head over to Brooklyn this evening to guest on The Bodega Cold Kutz Show.

The show hosted by J2ThaMar and Jay Drilla has DJ Joe Bodega and DJ Toshi on the decks, and tonight will also have Fred Ones and Rhinoceros Funk from Guerrilla Grooves Radio in the studio. M.I. and DJ Cutt were guests of The Bronx’s Guerrilla Grooves show earlier this week

It is definitely going to be lively as Baltimore, New Jersey, The Bronx and Brooklyn will all be represented in the house!
