West London’s Mystro has just released his long awaited debut album “Mystrogen” on his own “Don’t Bizznizz label, afforded a front page feature on iTunes last week.

A long respected figure in the UK hip hop scene for over a decade, he’s become well known in recent times for being the first to provide a “Fire In The Booth” for BBC 1Xtra’s Charlie Sloth, helped kick start the online series “Rapper Tag UK” and has provided the BBC with the annual “UK Rap Up” for the past 3 years.

Renowned for his mix of wordplay, punch lines, social commentary and humour, the album released on 10th September reflects his full range of skills. Production contributors include Black Einstein, fLako, Show N Prove and Firstman with features provided by Homeboy Sandman, Junior Reid and Lloyd Brown.

The latest off the album is “That Rush”, produced by former beatsmith for The Creators Si Spex

London’s Brainer Magazine is a relatively new online launched in 2009 to focus on music and art that has a passion behind it.

Their reviews are always well considered and thought provoking, with contributions supplied by a variety of journalists, writers, photographers and designers. Ohio’s Copywrite has released his new album “God Save the King (Proper English Version)” which is available now from iTunes

Packed full of the best hip hop beats and rhymes, the release has caused a huge amount of media and public interest over the past few months on both sides of the Atlantic.

While we have been busy over the years generating media & public exposure for the artists and labels we work for, and highlighting their various online platforms, we received many enquiries about the range of services we provide

We’ve kept it simple. The main page will continue to provide news on current campaigns, for example copy press, video & single releases, tour news and links to the artists concerned, while various pages have been set up giving more information about who we are, what we do, past examples of media, radio, tv, videos, single releases and tours

UrbanElite Promotions are a PR and Marketing company operating primarily in the UK with secondary operations on mainland Europe. We have 7 years’ experience working with many independent and Major artists from the UK, United States and Canada

The main focus is on hip hop & rap, but have also covered r&b, soul, dubstep, dance, drum & bass and various other styles

We work single, video & album releases, servicing physical & online press, magazines, newspapers, blogs, radio & club djs, satellite tv, provide tour press, assist in setting up events and tour dates, and provide artists & labels with further development, logistical & marketing assistance.

This one is in Rago Magazine, run by the guys from Wolftown Recordings, Tricksta & Late.

Those boys have been involved in UK hip hop for many years and consistently been putting out their own products internationally as well as running the magazine, several different blogs and various other ventures. Respect the grind

Here Tricksta pretty much goes in on his assessment of this album!! No holds barred, he definitely gives it the seal of approval :

“Well my friends, it’s like this, if you don’t like something on this album then you are either a hater, deaf or totally lost the plot”

Another UK magazine takes time out to speak with Ohio’s Copywrite

This time, Jazz Gill gets on the phone on behalf of The Guestlist Network, one of London’s premier online and physical publications

Jazz is well known for his in depth reviews, features and interviews and here its no different. Addressing the international concept of the album, he also touches upon Copy’s religious beliefs and how that sits with his current work, the famous diss track with Asher Roth and comparisons with other white rappers such as Eminem
