Out today, “Wolves” is the fifth single to be taken from the album “Lead by Example” by Ramson Badbonez, his debut as a producer which released in August through New Dawn Records.

Here Ramson returns to mic duties alongside fellow London rappers Phoenix da Icefire (ex Triple Darkness) and Cyclonious, all cutting a swathe through fallen kingpins and street tyrants in a barrage of heavy verbal artillery.
On the specially commissioned remix they are joined by renowned UK rapper Genesis Elijah.  Produced by Frost Gamble, originally of NY State and now operating out of Canada, the combination of highest calibre beats and rhymes makes this an authentic killer cut.

Ramson will be showcasing a number of the album tracks at London’s Brixton Jamm on Friday November 12th as part of a joint headline show with Phoenix da Icefire and Husky Brown who will be performing their own album “Panacea”.  Others appearing on the night include King Kashmere, Black Chronical and Prospects, hosted by DJ Jazz T and Peaches. Tickets are available online at www.gigs.hiphop

The new single is available to download and stream on all digital platforms and stores including Apple, Tidal, Amazon, Bandcamp & Spotify

Long established as a cornerstone of the UK hip hop scene, prolific rapper Ramson Badbonez swaps the mic for the mixing desk for the first time with the release today of his explosive new album “Lead by Example” through New Dawn Records.

One of the most impressive production debuts witnessed for many years is also extremely rare in nature.  Seldom, if ever, has such a line up of hip hop heavyweights from the USA, UK and Canada featured together on the one record, all standing shoulder to shoulder to deliver the highest standard lyricism, compelling rhymes and slick wordplay.

Beats fused with original funk, soul, rare groove and jazz provide a powerful and diverse soundtrack laced with additional turntablism courtesy of ITF Advancement Champion DJ Jazz T, UK DMC Finalist DJ Miracle and IDA World Finalist Kompoze, while Ramson continues to showcase his own lyrical prowess on selected tracks.   An essential collector’s item with few comparisons, a genuine landmark release.

New single released today and the fourth to be taken from the album “Lead by Example” by London’s Ramson Badbonez, his debut as a producer.

Out on August 27th through New Dawn Records, rarely has such a line up of hip hop heavyweights from both sides of the Atlantic featured together on the one LP, resulting in a showcase of the highest quality rhymes, beats and turntablism.

Previous singles “Stay True”, “Lead by Example” and “Black Hole Cypher / Rap to the Future” bench marked the standards, and latest offering “Lame Duck” follows in the same vein as New Jersey verbal assassins Tru Trilla, Fly Kwa and Prince Ak are next to enter the ring with their trademark raw and uncompromising punchlines delivering knockout blows to all comers, the energy intensified by the potent bass and kicks combinations for a concoction of bars and beats that go the full distance.  Hard as nails.

New AA side single released today through New Dawn Records,  the third to be taken from London producer Ramson Badbonez’ new album “Lead by Example” out on August 27th.

“Black Hole Cypher” is an outstanding posse cut featuring a “Who’s Who” of the UK scene.  Relentless business from King Kashmere, Truemendous, MysDiggi, Micall Parknsun, Joker Starr, Gee Bag, Confucius, Jehst, Phoenix da Icefire and Ramson himself all piling in with fierce bars over a high octane beat.

Switching gears, “Rap to the Future” resonates to a classic west coast beat as Dizzy Dustin (Ugly Duckling / Blown Celeb), Cali’s Mr Hooper and Canada’s Moka Only evoke the sights and sounds of hip hop back in the day, with exquisite cuts provided by last year’s IDA scratch champion Kompoze.

New heat released today by London producer Ramson Badbonez.

“Lead by Example” is the title track from his new album out on August 27th through New Dawn Records, and the second single taken from it following last month’s “Stay True” ft Reks, Ruste Juxx and Blacastan”.

His debut behind the boards, the beatmaker has assembled a stellar line up of hip hop heavyweights from the US, UK and Canada as the guest featured artists, the latest joint laying down another early marker of the levels.

Driven by a soundtrack fuelled with soulful horns and smoky breaks, Ghana’s finest Recognize Ali jumps in the ring like his namesake to “fly like a butterfly and spit some heavy punches” with Brooklyn’s acclaimed lyrical marksmen Skyzoo and Juxx Diamondz, all taking it in turns to deliver a salvo of relentless rhymes that drop a bag full of jewels on the unsuspecting.  The beat gets bodied as masters of their craft dispatch verses with precision engineering while the UK’s turntablist DJ Jazz T provides the scratch sorcery.  A premium cut for the connoisseur.

Fresh out the blocks today, the new single “Stay True” by London based producer Ramson Badbonez, the first to be taken from his album “Lead by Example” releasing through New Dawn Records on August 27th.

Rarely has a tracklist seen such a line up of hip hop heavyweights from both sides of the Atlantic share equal billing, and this joint sets the agenda early.  Neck muscles get a serious work out with a beat savagely torn to pieces by east coast warriors Reks, Ruste Juxx and Blacastan with all their renowned verbal artillery in full effect.   “Rawer than the booger suga”, it’s formidable business, prize fighters trading fierce bars and pulling no punches in a lyrical onslaught which leaves contenders on the floor.  Hip hop addicts, crank this all the way up for the ultimate fix.

Rapper and producer Az Izz released his new album “Dopeliss” through New Dawn Records earlier his month, marking a return to the hip hop fold after several years having spent time working on tv, film and sports productions.

Formerly of the legendary New Jersey group The Outsidaz, an extensive click which included Pace Won, Rah Digga, D.U. and Young Zee among their numbers, they were also noted at the time for a number of collaborative projects involving Wu Tang, The Fugees and a new emerging force from Detroit by the name of D12.

Known for a quirky and humorous approach to his rhyme schemes, the album musically also represents the evolution of the genre from the boom bap of “Ghetto” to electro bangers such as “Nunya” and “Gunz n Dice Games”.

Rapper and producer Az Izz, formerly of legendary New Jersey group The Outsidaz, returns with the self produced AA side single “Ghetto” b/w “Crazy” out today, the third from his new album “Dopeliss” releasing through New Dawn Records on July 3rd.

Together with Pacewon, Young Zee, Rah Digga and D.U., the Brick City crew were noted for their work with The Fugees, Wu Tang and a new emerging force from Detroit at the time, D12.  More recently pursuing a career in tv, film and sports music production, Az marks his arrival back with a first major solo offering in several years which blends the sounds of hip hop through the ages.

On “Ghetto”, the classic sound of the east coast prevails through guitar hooks and blaring brass on journeys to the gritty underbelly of the city, bars portraying street tales from the hood in the daily battle between survival and aspiration. Meanwhile on “Crazy”, aptly named for these times, heavy kicks and electronica fuel the adrenaline of a chaotic Brick City ride accompanied by fellow group member D.U.
