Eastcoast rapper & producer duo Tone Chop and Frost Gamble were in NYC last month promoting their new album “Respect Is Earned Not Given” which released on September 29th through Miami label 22 Entertainment.

Featuring Kool G Rap, Planet Asia, rap battler DNA and Tragedy Khadafi, it is available on CD and digital formats from online stores worldwide including Amazon, Bandcamp, iTunes and Spotify

They appeared as guests on DJ Eclipse’s Rap Is Outta Control show which as usual ends with a freestyle session. Chop, being the seasoned veteran he is dating back to his days starting out in street corner rap battles in upstate NY, brought the full armoury to the table on this one.

Rap Is Outta Control is now broadcast every Thursday from 10pm – 12pm EST on Sirius XM Channel 44.

Frost, who has emerged in the past year as one of the hottest hip hop producers on the scene, is also finishing his new solo album “I Missed My Bus” due out in the first half of 2018 which will include guest featured artists Conway, Rah Digga, Crooked I, Skyzoo, Ruste Juxx, Rass Kas, Guilty Simpson and many more.

He released his “Rare Fabric” EP with Tragedy Khadafi on October 20th and remixed the Kid Vishis & Royce da 5’9″ joint “Go Off“.

The pair were in New York a few weeks back promoting the album and were guests on DJ Eclipse’s Rap Is Outta Control show, broadcast now on their new slot every Thursday from 10pm – 12pm EST on Sirius XM’s “Hip Hop Nation” Channel 44.

As is customary, the show ends with a freestyle filmed by Bryan from The Beeshine TV. First broadcast live on air October 16th, the footage of Tone Chop & the show’s other guest Passport Gift has just been uploaded to Youtube. Check it out

M.I. has also moved into the world of acting, and his new film “Six2Six” co:starring Treach, Syleena Johnson and Chief Rocker Busy Bee will be screened at Ralph McDaniels’ Hip Hop Film Festival this Friday, August 5th, at 8.30pm EST. A year after the critically acclaimed “Avant Garde”, legendary east coast duo Constant Deviants return with a new concept album “Omerta” releasing on June 28th.

Their ever expanding Six2Six label have now incorporated film production as part of their creative enterprises and MC M.I. will appear with Treach (Naughty by Nature), Selena Johnson and Chief Rocker Busy Bee in a new movie set for release later in the year.

The group released the single “So Underrated” recently, and due to the reception of last year’s “3Stylez” video series, have filmed a further set of live freestyles for the new “Tre Volte” trilogy. The first episode “Hard on these Streets” was launched yesterday and premiered by Respect Magazine.

Earlier this week, Julius from Horseshoe Gang took to the Long Beach street to do what rappers do

The group release their new album “Anti-Trap Music” on April 29th, and this live freestyle of the same name lays the cards on the table so you get the concept.

Last year the group released their “Knockin on Rap’s Door” Ep and picked up the gauntlet laid down by Funk Volume with their rap battle challenge, resulting in appearances on Sirius XM’s “Sway in the Morning”, DJ Vlad TV and features in HipHop DX and AllHipHop.

On 30th August, Riq da Kid, Tru Trilla and Prince Ak – aka 050 Boyz – took the trip over to NYC with Treach from Naughty by Nature to appear as guests on DJ Eclipse’s Rap Is Outta Control Show on Sirius XM.

Other guests on the show were Boston’s N.B.S., and after the main interview sections, Eclipse got a cypher going with the members of the two groups. The Beeshine were on hand to film it, and the resulting video went live online today

The Newark / Illtown / East Orange trio launched their new single “Concrete Combat” yesterady, taken from the album “Everything 050” released on 4th August (available HERE)
