Melanin 9 releases his new album “Magna Carta” from which these tracks are taken on 3rd December and has already generated a huge amount of media interest in this, his debut album. Look out for an album launch date at The Vibe Bar, London on 23rd November. More info and links at www.melanin9.com

Copywrite enjoyed a summer of intense media coverage in 2012 with the release of his solo album “God Save the King (Proper English Version)” from which these tracks are taken, and is set to release his new album “Megacy” as part of his group Megahertz, and is also due to tour the UK and Europe in early 2013. Kuniva just launched the new Midwest Marauders 2 Mixtape, full of hip hop bangers as you can hear on the mix. He’s working on a number of new projects for 2013

Germany’s The Snowgoons have had a big year in 2012 since releasing their Dynasty album in July via Babygrande Records

Producers DJ Illegal and Det have come a long way since starting out in 1999, and since being joined by Sicknature and J.S. Kuster in 2011, theyve made massive inroads with the most recent release which includes features from Ghostface Killah, Joell Ortiz, Sean Price, Ill Bill, Killah Priest, Termanology, Planet Asia, Ras Kass, Ruste Juxx, Blacastan and many more.

They released the single “The Rapture” which featured D12’s Swifty McVay and New York’s Sean Strange

The Snowgoons have announced they will be touring Europe in December 2012 with Swifty and Sean Strange, and so far have confirmed the following dates:

December 8th Chur Switzerland
December 12th Les 2 Alpes France
December 13th Lyon France
December 14th Dijon France
December 15th Zurich Switzerland

The new album from Ohio’s Copywrite “God Save The King (Proper English Version)” has been released on Man Bites Dog Records.

With stellar production from Marco Polo, Bronze Nazareth, Stu Bangas, Curtiss King, Jaguar Skills & Kount Fif, Megahertz founder member Copywrite is on top form throughout.

There’s been huge international public & media interest in the release over the past few months, not least due to the quality of artists also featured from both sides of the Atlantic. This has seen MC’s the calibre of Akala & Sonny Seeza, S.A.S. & Sean Price, Genesis Elijah & Royce da 5 9, Iron Braydz & Crooked I, Bigz Flygerian & Inspectah Deck, Melanin 9 & Killah Priest and many more stand shoulder to shoulder on various tracks with further contributions from the likes of Evidence, Mystro, Roc Marciano and Torae.

The final official video taken from the album is the Jason Rose produced “Ghost in the Machine” which features London’s Context, currently riding high on the back of winning MTV’s “Brand New Unsigned” artist competition and playlisting on BBC Radio 1

Shot in Columbus Ohio and Hammersmith London, its a fitting finale to celebrate the launch of an exceptional album. Directed by John Hendrickse of Dirty Media London in the UK and Sean Grevencamp in the United States. Directors of Photography were Spaceship “Despa” Robinson (Despa Stay Fresh) in the Uk and Sean Grevencamp in the United States. Copywrite is working on a new Megahertz album and putting together plans to tour Europe in early 2013

Another UK magazine reviews Copywrite’s new album God Save The King (Proper English Version) which is available to buy now from iTunes, released by Man Bites Dog Records

Matt Bayfield is the latest to cast his eye over the album whose title is inspired by the classic Sex Pistols release, and features a “healthy selection of UK emcees as well as a cast of seasoned veterans from the underground US scene”

London’s Brainer Magazine is a relatively new online launched in 2009 to focus on music and art that has a passion behind it.

Their reviews are always well considered and thought provoking, with contributions supplied by a variety of journalists, writers, photographers and designers. Packed full of the best hip hop beats and rhymes, the release has caused a huge amount of media and public interest over the past few months on both sides of the Atlantic.

Sabotage Times is a lifestyle online covering Sport, Fashion, Music, Travel, TV & Film, and here Tobi Oke takes a listen through the “Sex Pistols Inspired Hip Hop” album featuring a host of legendary names from the UK and USA which results in a “truly ambitious and commendable project”

There’s little doubt that the unique nature of the album has attracted a lot of interest, but it’s also been recognized as having the quality and depth to match the ambition and more.

Its been an epic journey, but the day has finally arrived

After the initial concept of the album was born during the first couple of months of 2011, and after a very long & winding road in the months which followed, Copywrite’s new album “God Save The King (Proper English Version)” releases today on Man Bites Dog Records

A Stateside version called simply “God Save The King” was released with an entirely different tracklisting in the States in February 2012, however this version took the longest to complete given the massive array of international talent from the UK, United States and Canada who also feature.

Needless to say, the UK media have taken a huge interest in the release over the past few months, with nearly 30 separate magazines either reviewing or publishing interviews (with more to come), djs & online platforms from both sides of the Atlantic jumping all over the various single releases and videos, with further UK satellite tv station support.

Latest to give props to the album is The Hip Hop Village, the people behind which also run 16 Bars Magazine

Fresh in UK stores today, the August edition of Echoes Magazine, for many years regarded as the “black music essential monthly”.

In this month’s edition, a two page feature has the magazine’s Sunil Chauhan speak with Ohio’s Copywrite about his new album God Save The King (Proper English Version) which releases on Man Bites Dog Records on Tuesday 7th August 2012.

Headed, “God Save International Collaboration”, the interview initially touches upon the international flavour of the album given the many UK and American artists and producers who feature alongside Copywrite, and also acknowledges that the names involved are highly regarded in the independent hip hop community.

Copywrite also speaks about recording a new Megahertz album, gives an in depth insight to his much discussed “switch” to Christianity and how that sits with his involvement in hip hop, his various musical influences…..and his meeting with a fat banker who turned out to be a huge Souls of Mischief fan!!
