Emcee M.I. and producer DJ Cutt, currently filming a new movie and recording new material, have just launched their second official single from the album. “End All Be All” is the follow up to “Breathin” which reached #1 in the college radio charts earlier in the Spring, and was first aired while the pair were guests on Beatminerz Radio recently.

Constant Deviants celebrate the 20th anniversary of releasing their debut 12″ single “Competition Catch Speed Knots” next year, and last week released their new album “Avant Garde”.

It is their fourth album in six years since officially re-forming in 2009 and setting up their own Six2Six Records label. Whether you prefer digital, vinyl or CD formats, all can be bought or ordered HERE

They’ve received an impressive level of public & media support in the past couple of months for both the quality of the album and their general approach which still draws strongly from the traditional elements of hip hop but for a modern age.

GUESTS ON THE NOT 97 SHOW 13TH MAY

Last week, Emcee M.I. and producer DJ Cutt were in New York and dropped by the GID Radio studios in Brooklyn to appear as guests on the Not 97 Show hosted by Mic Handz and the Smokin Aces crew. Also appearing were Tragedy Khadafi, El Da Sensei, Jake Palumbo and Nutso. It’s filmed and streamed live every Wednesday night from 10pm EST.

Southern rapper & producer Ande Bishop has crammed a lot into his first 5 months as a solo artist

Having produced for fellow American Roulette stablemate Londn Blue on the “False Hope” EP released last year, the switch of focus onto his own career at the beginning of 2015 has seen a string of releases premiered and featured on sites such as The Source, Elevator Magazine, Mechanical Dummy, JackThriller and his first official video “MoneyorFriendz” aired on VH-1 and MTV.

In the Spring he inked a long term deal with Seven 13 Entertainment and has just released his debut introductory debut EP “Ocean$” available on iTunes HERE

His previous release “OldJayZVideos” was publicly co-signed by Rick Ross and to mark the release of the EP, he has just launched the new joint “OG Jaylon”. His trademark storytelling delivery style is again backed by a beat which utilizes classic soul & r&b samples.

New Jersey trio, Prince AK, Tru Trilla and Riq tha Kid, aka 050 Boyz, travelled a long and diverse road to form as a group in 2011.

With individual histories spanning back a couple of decades, the story of 050 Boyz who take their name from the NJ district code is one of careers intertwining at various stages throughout the years. Most notably as part of the Garden State Greats movement inspired by Treach (Naughty by Nature) & Fam (Rottin Razcals) in 2004, a concept which was re-generated by Lords of the Underground front man DoItAll some years later.

Added to the mix are tv & film acting careers, ongoing solo careers and now a banging new hip hop album produced entirely by Clinton Place (Yukmouth, Kurupt, DoItAll and Gillahouse’s Runt Dawg)

There’s only a little under two days to go until veteran hip hop duo Constant Deviants release their new album “Avant Garde” on Tuesday 12th May, their fourth in 6 years.

Rising producer & rapper Ande Bishop releases his debut EP “Ocean$” on 19th May having recently signed a new record deal with Seven 13 Entertainment.

Having produced Londn Blue’s “False Hope” EP in 2014, he’s made an impressive start since switching focus to his own solo career at the turn of the year with a series of releases featured exclusively in The Source, Mechanical Dummy and JackThriller, while his first official video for his single “MoneyorFriendz” has been aired by MTV and VH-1. Estimated by many as the “one to watch” from the new wave of Southern artists, Ande now shares his time equally between Atlanta and Alabama and has been busy recording new tracks for an album planned later in the year while conducting interviews with members of the international press. Constant Deviants release their new album “Avant Garde” on 12th May through their own Six2Six label. It will be available worldwide on vinyl, CD and digital formats.

Next year marks the 20th anniversary of the release of their debut 12″ classic single “Competition Catch Speed Knots” when they first came together by performing at NY college parties. Then based in Brooklyn and New Jersey, they also worked on seperate projects for Arista and Roc-A-Fella before reforming specifically as a group in 2009 and setting up their own label

Their focus both as artists and a label on the traditional elements of hip hop helped them build strongly with the European market where there has always been a long standing appreciation for this style. This led to developing a working relationship with Swiss label SWC Records, releasing projects under the name Trilateral Commission, most recently the “Swiss Banks” movie. The soundtrack uses their album with the visual concept based on the best selling novel of the same name. M.I. plays an acting role in the film.

Over the past few months, there has been widespread interest in the release and their “3Stylez” video series, a trilogy of freestyles showing M.I. and DJ Cutt performing live and direct as hip hop intended. The first two videos “Heavy Artillery” and “Art of War” were released in April. Their single “Breathin” registered #1 in the college radio charts and featured in the UK’s print publication DJ Magazine, with a subsequent bonus joint “Just Make Music” also getting regular spins. They’ve already featured in various international publications with much more to come.

M.I., now based in Baltimore, was also one of the guests talking hip hop & politics with SiriusXM’s Jon Leiberman for his new online tv show “Rapping with Leiberman”.
