RPL-UKHHreview

Having already performed an exclusive freestyle video for leading British online hip hop site UKHH.COM some weeks ago, their contributor Ethan Everton has also now reviewed the album Reality Provoking Liberation which released on 28th October.

The article is yet another endorsement among many publications who have covered the release in the past couple of months, opening “Potentially the rawest truths that you’ll hear on record for the remainder of the year, the philosophies behind the wordplay in Apex Zero’s almost entirely self-produced début album Reality Provoking Liberation is if anything a reflective experience for any listener.”

It is in fact a very in depth appraisal of the album, delving into the finer points of the tracks and is summarized “As stated at the beginning, this is more than an just album to muse too. It’s intention is to bring about a new mentally aware consciousness that’s being prohibited in ways unimaginable.”

RPL-HipHopinEnglish

West London emcee & producer Apex Zero released his debut solo album “Reality Provoking Liberation” on 28th October to critical acclaim.

Drawing from the sensibilities of hip hop from the Golden Era, he has received plaudits for addressing a wide range of political and social issues in his rhymes & lyricism, delivered with his trademark firebrand flow. The latest online publication to endorse the release is the UK’s Hip Hop In English

In opening, they introduce the album as “a verbal lambasting directed straight at the head honchos holding office all over the world. Delicate it is not.” before dissecting the lyrics, beats, tracks and summarizing “Heavy, yes. Hard hitting, yes. Informed, skilful and dynamic, yes. It’s a philosophy self described as Neo-Hardcore. Not for the casual listener, but definitely one for those willing to open their mind and question their surroundings.”

For anyone wanting a real grasp about what the album represents, read the review HERE

Meanwhile, Apex has been busy putting the finishing touches to his live set for the album launch party taking party on Saturday 7th December, upstairs at The Vibe Bar, 91 Brick Lane, London E1 6QL.
