At that the beginning of what is going to be a busy week for London’s Melanin 9, international online “The Word Is Bond” are the latest to cover what they describe as “a quite exceptional album“.

The Word Is Bond are made up of a collection of hip hop enthusiasts from all over the world, UK, USA, Japan, and have a history of supporting that traditional classic hip hop sound from wherever in the world it happens to be

“Magna Carta” as a debut album has received an exceptional response from the media in the UK and overseas, and this week will see Melanin 9 live on Funhouse TV with DJ Chris P Cuts from 9pm GMT / 4pm EST on Tuesday 20th (Live stream HERE ), and on Thursday he will be live in the studio with DJ Sammy Jay for the Xposure show on Guess FM from 7.30pm GMT / 2.30pm EST http://www.guessradio.co.uk

On Friday his album launch party takes place from 8pm – 1am at The Vibe Bar, 91 Brick Lane, London E1 (nearest tube Aldgate East).

An 18 and over event, for £5.00 you can watch him perform assisted by Choice FM’s DJ 279, Host Iron Braydz, and further special appreaances by Genesis Elijah, Rewd Adams, Cyrus Malachi, Logic, Phoenix da Icefire and Skriblah Dangogh

Tuesday 20th November also sees the launch of his new video featuring Roc Marciano. “White Russian, produced by Anatomy, will premiere on Nah Right from 4pm GMT / 11am EST http://www.nahright.com

Resident Dj for the new Elementz club night representing the 4 elements of hip hop at Rhythm Factory on Thursday 26th April 2012 is Sarah Love.

Footsoldier of London’s renowned Kung Fu nights, ex MTV Base and BBC 1 Xtra presenter, Sarah was the official tour dj for Aloe Blacc’s UK dates in December 2011, and she returned recently from a month long series of dates in Australia.

She gave this mini video interview prior to performing at Rich Mix in London last week, and talks about what she’s been up to recently her plans for the year ahead.

There is a competition live now for b-boys and b-girls to perform at the event, the winner receiving a cash prize and will be interviewed by Elementz associate The Hip Hop Chronicle.

Entrants should send a video of them performing – usually a Youtube link – by uploading it to the Facebook page www.facebook.com/elementzuk or sending it to info.elementzuk@gmail.com or tweeting the link to @ElementzUK We dont expect it to be a major production standard film, we’re more interested in the skills. So it can be off a phone, camera, whatever. Only one video per entrant, and make sure you include your contact details in an email to us.

JAMIESON : NEW VIDEO & SINGLE “Last Time I Saw You”

London’s Jamieson drops yet another freestyle and video, in what’s been one of the most prolific periods for output from this MC who in his own words is on his own “foreign exchange”, now on the hard grind in New York City.

He lets loose on this one “Last Time I Saw You” over a jumpin hip hop beat, and its always good to hear someone with the flow skills go in with the shackles removed.

He released the first track “I Told You So” from his new EP “I Came I Saw Volume 3” last week, with a lot more to follow in the next couple of months. He has been in the studio with various other artists recently, among them London’s super producer Beat Butcha, so it looks like being a busy 2012.
