The new album “Righteous Fury by ex Guerilla War Tactix member Matt Maddox releases tomorrow 25th February on Red Phone Records / Seven 13 Music.

Originally out of Long Beach California and currently resident in Kansas, the rapper has put several years’ work into this his sophomore release, and it includes all the key qualities of an authentic hip hop album – skilled lyricism and wordplay, quality beats and turntablism, and a well chosen selection of special guest features

UK online magazine PopCulturez are the latest to give their full endorsement in this new review published today. “Lyrically thick, this album takes things right back to hardcore rhyme spitting such as on the superb, uncompromising, ‘Murder Weapons.” as the magazine goes into further detail of the east meets west influence throughout, concluding “Without playing to the commercial galleries, this album hits hard with no filler, clocking in at 57 minutes to deliver a lean and mean collection“.

The new Matt Maddox album “Righteous Fury” is the highly anticipated follow up to his debut “Asylum Artistry” and releases Tuesday 25th February on Red Phone Records / Seven 13 Music.

It’s been a long time in the making but has enjoyed an impressive international media response, reflecting the skilled wordplay and powerful delivery of the Kansas based MC. The ex Guerilla War Tactix member has called on some well known names in the world of hip hop to join him on the album.

A healthy dose of quality turntablism is in effect throughout courtesy of fellow Red Phone labelmate DJ TMB.

RPL-AH25

Two more British online magazines are the latest to run the rule over the new album by West London rapper & producer Apex Zero’s debut solo album “Reality Provoking Liberation” which released on 28th October

Multi genre Musiceyz and urban music specialist AH 25 Eight Entertainment like many before them have endorsed the young emcee’s rhymes, powerful delivery and conscientious approach which addresses many of the political and social issues affecting large sections of society today

The influences of artists such as Wu Tang, Immortal Technique, Nas, dead prez, Public Enemy, Klashnekoff, Phi Life Cypher and Skinnyman are evident in terms of the traditional values of hip hop lyricism, but also has a unique production style drawn from a wide spectrum of musical genres which lends itself to an edgy and at times aggressive full on attack to the senses.

JAMIESON : NEW VIDEO & SINGLE “Last Time I Saw You”

London’s Jamieson drops yet another freestyle and video, in what’s been one of the most prolific periods for output from this MC who in his own words is on his own “foreign exchange”, now on the hard grind in New York City.

He lets loose on this one “Last Time I Saw You” over a jumpin hip hop beat, and its always good to hear someone with the flow skills go in with the shackles removed.

He released the first track “I Told You So” from his new EP “I Came I Saw Volume 3” last week, with a lot more to follow in the next couple of months. He has been in the studio with various other artists recently, among them London’s super producer Beat Butcha, so it looks like being a busy 2012.

Together with the video for “Last Time I Saw you”, also check out footage of him performing live at NYC’s famous SOB’s “Who’s Next” Hot 97 showcase.
